It appears that things have turned ugly very quickly in the post-retirement life of former NFL running back Frank Gore if Wednesday’s report is any indication.

Details have emerged regarding an incident that occurred last month between Gore and a woman that revealed some pretty graphic and disturbing actions allegedly done by Gore.

According to TMZ, the former NFL running back is being accused of grabbing the naked woman by her hair and dragging her across the 59th floor of the Tropicana Casino’s Havana Tower in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

It was earlier reported that police had been called to the scene and talked to the woman, but did not initially charge Gore because the woman did not exhibit any signs of injury in the altercation.

After an investigation was conducted on the matter, Gore was charged with simple assault “related to the domestic violence incident.”

These are obviously some extremely serious allegations that Gore is facing, and many are shocked and appalled that he could have potentially committed these ugly crimes.

Gore is currently scheduled for a court hearing on the case in October on the disturbing matter.

Gore’s life after football has been heavily publicized, which included pursuing a boxing career that resulted in a very public loss to former NBA star Deron Williams via split decision.

Considering Gore’s résumé in the NFL as one of the most underrated players in NFL history with 16,000 yards in his career, the third most in NFL history, it is extremely saddening to hear about this situation.
