Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge is a teammate I’d like to have.

Not only is he having a great season, leading the Browns with 68 receptions, 930 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns, but he takes care of his brothers. On Tuesday, Barnidge rented out an entire Ohio theater for his Browns teammates to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and invited his Twitter followers to join him.

Suffering through yet another losing season (3-11 this year), being a Cleveland Browns fans can be tough. But fans seemed to appreciate Barnidge’s efforts to be involved with the community.

If inviting fans to see the new Star Wars movie wasn’t enough, Barnidge spent his day with some of his Browns teammates, hosting 20 needy kids from Ohio Guidestone, taking them shopping and buying them toys.

Barnidge may have been a Pro Bowl snub, but he’s the MVP of the Pro Bowl of my heart. Seriously though, what a good dude.
