Via WFTS TV:

Tampa Fire Rescue is on scene after a gas line explosion injured two people at Raymond James Stadium.

It happened just after 2 p.m. on Thursday at the facility located at 4201 N. Dale Mabry Highway.

Tampa Police says two men were working on a gas line in a vending area on the 300 level of the stadium when a spark ignited causing a small explosion.

Two men were injured and taken to Tampa General Hospital as trauma alerts.

Hopefully both men end up okay. The stadium is set to host Tampa Bay’s second preseason game against the Steelers next Friday, with USF vs. Wisconsin on August 30th, and the Buccaneers Week 1 regular season game against the 49ers on September 8th.
