The saga of NFL quarterback Tom Brady and his estranged wife Gisele Bündchen has dominated the headlines for months. While it looks like the two sides may likely be headed for a nasty divorce with Bündchen hiring a top divorce attorney, there may still be one way that Brady can save their marriage.

An insider at US Magazine recently revealed that Gisele has issued Brady a “final ultimatum” to potentially save their marriage.

“Gisele told Tom either he leaves football to spend time with the family or she is gone for good,”

The reason that Bündchen decided to leave Brady in the first place was due to his return to football just months after retiring, and Gisele reportedly is concerned about her husband’s health.

“She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future,” the source added. “She is doing it for her family”.

It’s unclear whether Bündchen means an immediate retirement from football or one after this current season, but she is seemingly very serious about leaving long-term.

These issues in Brady’s personal life have seemed to show their effects on the football field as well, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looking extremely poor on offense thus far this season.

With the NFL season in full swing, it certainly seems unlikely that Tom Brady would retire mid-season, but that ultimately might be the one thing that Gisele wants to potentially save their marriage.

He certainly has nothing left to prove on the football field, but it very much seems like he has plenty left to prove to Gisele when it comes to their relationship.
