After starting the season off relatively strong, Green Bay Packers first-year starting quarterback Jordan Love has struggled the past four games, throwing seven interceptions with just four touchdowns as the team has now lost four of its last five games. But it sounds like the team is still confident in him.

During his press conference this week, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur sent a clear message to Jordan Love, saying “our confidence in him is not wavering one bit.”

“It all works in unison and, so, the better everybody is around him, the better he’s going to look,” LaFleur said according to Pro Football Talk. “Our confidence in him is not wavering one bit. Certainly, I think, as the play-caller you put a lot of onus on yourself when things aren’t going well. We’ll continue to do that, but we’ve got to find a way to generate more points because when you’re generating points, it’s just a totally different narrative.”

Love will have a chance to bounce back from some of his struggles this week as the team hosts the division-rival Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon. The Packers have expressed nothing but confidence in Love ever since he took over for future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. But now it’s time for him to go out and prove himself on the field.
