The Kansas City Chiefs are reeling after missing out on the opportunity to make history. Had Kansas City beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, they’d have become the first franchise in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
The Chiefs’ stars have taken different approaches to the loss. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes changed up his haircut and has been seen at various sporting events, while tight end Travis Kelce has stepped back a little from the public eye.
Another prominent member of the Chiefs’ dynasty is taking a different approach altogether.
“Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker met with President Donald Trump today at The White House,” reported Farzin Vousoughian on Thursday.

This comes at a time when much of the country has been heavily critical of Trump and his cuts to federal employment levels and programs such as Medicaid. People on social media reacted to Butker’s show of support.
“We have the Tate brothers on one side and Butker on the other side. Maga has quite the range,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Happy to see Butker in the WH but a little disappointed. Would have expected Justin Tucker to be there. Afterall, his morals and values match a lot with the folks in the current administration.. or for that matter they match the morals and values shown by most elected officials,” one person added.
“How come he didn’t bring his teammates with him?! Oh, wait, my eagles had something to do with that,” an Eagles fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see how Chiefs fans feel about Butker’s meeting with the President.
