NFL weddings usually aren’t that special, but Mike Evans provided an exception.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneer wide receiver is paid to catch. With some of his money, he threw a wedding celebration which certainly merits discussion — not just because Evans figures to be a major part of whatever success the Bucs have going forward, but because of the wedding cake he chose:

That is amazing.

There are Harry Potter fans, and then there’s Mike Evans.

Important question: Was this cake eaten? Or, was it preserved to be housed in a museum? There is so much detail on this cake — you might miss it if you only glance past it.

Why is Huffelpuff on top, for instance, and Gryffindor on the bottom? There’s also a Marauder’s Map, Harry’s glasses, a snitch, and maybe something else on the other side that we can’t see. Of course, Hedwig is on top. The owls always rise to the top.

Congratulations to Mike Evans and his bride. May their married life be as amazing as this cake.
