Star cornerback J.C. Jackson spent his first four years in the NFL with the New England Patriots. He spent last year with the Los Angeles Chargers in an injury-riddled season that he would like to forget about. As he prepares for the upcoming 2023-24 season, he has circled an upcoming rematch against his former team.

The NFL schedule was released on Thursday, which showed exactly when the Patriots and Chargers will be playing this season.

They will face off in Week 13 on December 3rd in a matchup where Jackson is excited to prove his former team wrong for not bringing him back.

Jackson appeared on NFL Total Access on Thursday, where he revealed that he is excited for this “revenge game”, where he plans to pick off former teammate Mac Jones.

“It’s a revenge game for me, man. I’m excited to go back and pick Mac Jones off. And to show them why they should have never let me go.”

The Patriots organization knows as well as anyone what J.C. Jackson is capable of when he is playing at his best. During his time in New England Jackson recorded 25 interceptions in four seasons with the team. He also earned a Pro Bowl selection in the 2021-22 season.

Jackson played in just five games for the Chargers last season before suffering a season-ending by rupturing his patellar tendon.

The Chargers have some very high aspirations after a postseason meltdown last season against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jackson appears to be eager to help them this season, especially against the Patriots in December.
