You know you’ve made it when you have your own logo.

Houston Texans linebacker J.J. Watt released his own personal logo on his Instagram on Sunday night in partnership with Rebook.

My logo. My vision. My goals. #HuntGreatness

It looks pretty plain.

The logo’s design apparently holds multiple meanings. The JJ looks like a W to represent Watt’s name. Darren Rovell of ESPN.com reports when flipped around, the letters become Watt’s number 99, although that’s kind of hard to see. Rovell further reports the logo is designed to look like rising buildings, which are supposed to be a metaphor for Watt’s work ethic. Uh… sure.

Watt isn’t the first NFL player to get their own logo. Tom Brady, Cam Newton, and Robert Griffin III all have their own designs.

Watt, in full corporate speak, told Rovell the logo will give upcoming Rebook products his “own stamp of approval.”

“I have always dreamed of being able to use my experience to create something truly great, something that I believed would legitimately improve people’s performance and training,” Watt told ESPN.com. “I wanted the ability to put my own personal stamp of approval on tools that I thought would help people perform better. And that is what this logo has allowed me to do. When you see this logo, you will know that I personally had my hand in the product’s creation and that it has my own personal stamp of approval.”

Let’s be honest, the logo isn’t great and Watt’s team is definitely stretching the meaning in order for #brand recognition. I mean, it’s not ugly but it’s not transcendent like Watt’s statement would have you believe it is. It’s a stamp to sell products.  Still, considering Watt’s dominance on the football field, if anybody deserves a personal logo it’s him.
