While the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles fight for NFC supremacy, one ESPN analyst thinks that the Eagles have surpassed the Cowboys in the quarterback position.
Former linebacker Bart Scott thinks the best quarterback in the NFC East is now Jalen Hurts and he explained why on ESPN’s Get Up.
“Jalen Hurts is a better runner, and he’s more accurate right now. And he has better weapons on the outside,” Scott said. “Jalen Hurts has passed Dak Prescott as far as the rankings at quarterback.”

When host Mike Greenberg tried to push back on that answer, Scott stood his ground.
“The numbers show,” he said. “The numbers don’t lie.”
Yes, Hurts has put up better numbers this year so far. However, Prescott was out of action for the first six weeks of the season and showed in the game against the Chicago Bears that when he is on, he is one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
And as Greenberg pointed out, the Cowboys’ offense, when healthy, had the best offense in the NFL last year. But who knows how much better the Cowboys would have been had they had a healthy Prescott throughout the year.
It wouldn’t surprise many if we see the Eagles face the Cowboys in the NFC Championship Game.
