While Tom Brady’s 23rd season is still ongoing, he wasn’t able to attend the premiere of the movie with his name in the title, 80 for Brady. However, that didn’t stop one of the stars of the film from sharing how she swooned meeting the NFL quarterback for the first time.

The new comedy stars Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field as four older women who take a road trip to Super Bowl LI with the hope of seeing Brady and the New England Patriots defeat the Atlanta Falcons.

Fonda, who has been nominated for seven Academy Awards and won two, told The Hollywood Reporter that she was “completely starstruck” when she met Brady on the set.

“He was kind and humble, which is hard to believe considering how brilliant he is at what he does, but it’s true. He was also sweet and polite,” Fonda said. “My knees actually got weak when he walked into my trailer. I’m in awe of that kind of skill. When somebody is the best in the world at what they do, you have to honor that and respect it. I was just awestruck.”

Tomlin, meanwhile, had high praise for Brady’s acting chops.

“Just looking at his face and his eyes and watching him listen to me as an actor trying to reciprocate in the same way, I felt like I was that [real-life] woman from Boston who was in her 80s,” Tomlin said. “I felt, in fact, as though he was my son when I had to do this speech with him.”

80 for Brady hits theaters on Feb. 3.
