Jason Kelce

Earlier this year, Philadelphia Eagles star center Jason Kelce made it clear that he intended to come back to the team this year despite retirement rumors. And when he officially signed a new contract to return to the Eagles next season, he and Eagles general manager Howie Roseman celebrated in an extremely unique way – by ripping shots of tequila.

Following news of Jason Kelce officially re-signing with the Eagles, he shared a video doing a celebratory tequila shot with Roseman via the Twitter account associated with his New Heights podcast.

“I have put much thought into whether it makes sense to play another season. After talking it over with my wife and many other friends and family, I have decided to return for another year. Thank you to all my supporters and detractors for fueling me,” Kelce said in a tweet on Monday night.

It was quite a scene and an interaction that most fans don’t see from players and general managers. And the as a result, the video went viral around the NFL.

Roseman said “to next year in Vegas, baby” as he took the shot, implying that he expects the team to make another run at the Super Bowl next season with Kelce leading the way.
