Jason Kelce Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Jason Kelce hasn’t played a down of football since losing to his brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl three years ago, but he still has a career. That career just happens to be in the media these days.

Kelce and his brother host one of the most successful podcasts in the world, “New Heights,” and he’s also been featured heavily by ESPN as of late. Unfortunately, the ways things are not going quite so well on ESPN.

As noted by Awful Announcing, Kelce’s impactful moments at the network have been few and far between.

“I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but my tits are still struggling,” Kelce said after wearing a poo-fitting shirt while being a part of ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcast team.

There was also the time he was so pro-Philadelphia Eagles during a Monday Night Football broadcast that he had to apologize after the game. Other than those two moments, the only thing of note may have been when he spiked a heckler’s phone for antagonizing him while on campus at Penn State for a football game.

With Kelce rounding out the first year of what has been reported to be a three-year $24 million deal, ESPN was likely hoping for a bigger return on its investment.

It’s not too late for Kelce to turn things around, as he has two years left to hit his stride.

Unfortunately, if the former Eagles legend isn’t able to do that, his career on television may not be nearly as long as his one on the field was.
