The Seattle Seahawks selected former Ohio State Buckeyes star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft last month, and it sure sounds like he’s ready to make an instant impact for the team.

During an appearance on KJR this week, Jaxon Smith-Njigba claimed that “there’s no ceiling for me” as a wide receiver as he heads into the NFL, and hyped up the “crazy” potential for the Seahawks’ offense after they added him to the mix.

“Those guys can do it all, but you just add another weapon that can do it all, I think it’s going to be dangerous,” Smith-Njigba said according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of TheAthletic.com. “Geno back there slinging it, the potential is crazy. The potential is crazy, and I love playing with great players. I’m blessed to be a Seahawk, and I’m blessed to play in that stadium in front of those fans. We’re gonna light it up for sure.”

The Seahawks have two other strong receivers in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, so that should take some of the pressure of Smith-Njigba early in his career. It should also open things up for him to produce for the team right away.
