Several storylines emerged this week from the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. One such storyline involves Heisman Trophy winner and LSU Tigers standout Jayden Daniels. The former Tigers quarterback could be drafted very high this April, so it’s no surprise that he caught plenty of attention after he arrived at the Combine.

Daniels’ brilliant 2023 season at LSU turned heads all over. He won the Heisman Trophy in a race mostly contested between him, Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr., and Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix.

Who will take Daniels? That’s still to be determined. However, what’s clear is that several teams want in on him. And, at a minimum, want to meet with him.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that numerous teams have already met with the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback. Daniels has met with, among others, the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders, and the New England Patriots. Those three teams pick first, second, and third overall in this year’s NFL Draft. So it might be newsworthy and could provide some tells.

“LSU Heisman Trophy-winning QB Jayden Daniels spent yesterday and today at the Combine meeting with teams such as the Bears, Commanders, Vikings, Jets, Giants, Patriots, Raiders, Seahawks, and Saints,” Rapoport posted.

Rapoport broke the big news on X, the popular website formerly known as Twitter.

The NFL world has been buzzing since the news broke.
