The Philadelphia Eagles stopped the Kansas City Chiefs from making history and becoming the first franchise to ever win three consecutive NFL championships when they defeated Kansas City in the Super Bowl.
Now the Eagles will hope to be the ones repeating as Super Bowl champions. Unfortunately, it’s looking as if they might be out one of the key pieces to this season’s success.
“Eagles assistant head coach and RB coach Jemal Singleton interviewed for the Saints offensive coordinator job, per source. One Eagles official recently described Singleton as ‘a big part of what we do on offense and a rising star going forward,'” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Geesh Kellen is going full send poaching the Eagles staff. Does he know there are other teams with guys he could swipe? Nick needs to start writing in contracts that ‘you can take a maximum of 2 guys with you when you get a head coaching job on the back of my culture,'” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“if this man leaves the best running back in the world after just winning a SB to get paid a little more to go lose with Kellen ima crash out,” one fan added.
“We thanked Kellen for his time here and now he wants to take the coaching staff? Tarnishing his one year legacy here if this keeps up,” another fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see if Singleton ends up leaving.
