Despite missing two games and playing in an anemic offense, Denver Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy had the best season of his career in 2022.
The Cleveland Browns, who dealt with their own offensive struggles a season ago, are said to be interested in Jeudy.
Benjamin Allbright of KOA Colorado reported on Tuesday that “Cleveland continues to pursue possible trade for Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy.”
Dallas traded for Brandin Cooks, but Cleveland continues to pursue possible trade for Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy per source.
New England has also looked into Jeudy but thus far has not been willing to pay requested price tag.

Cleveland does need another WR, but may be tough to part with more premium draft capital and immediately exercise a fully guaranteed $13M fifth-year option for 2024 https://t.co/nnBHmls3hI

Figuring out what Denver would ask for is important in figuring out how likely this trade is to go happen. Thanks to the Deshaun Watson trade, the Browns don’t have a first-round pick in either 2023 or 2024. So, if the Broncos are looking for that, Cleveland doesn’t have what it takes to acquire Jeudy. The Browns do, however, have eight draft picks in the upcoming draft. So, if the Broncos are looking for quantity, there’s potential for a match.
Cleveland’s passing game left much to be desired in 2022. The Browns passed for only 3,444 yards and 19 touchdowns on the season, the 11th and 13th worst totals in the league, respectively. Denver had a similarly poor passing attack. Still, Jeudy caught 67 passes for 972 yards with six touchdowns, all career highs. Those totals would have all been good enough for second on the Browns. Fellow Alabama alum Amari Cooper led the way with 78 receptions, 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns.
