The Dallas Cowboys whooped up on the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night in a 41-21 victory. While Eagles QB Jalen Hurts equated the game to a “deuce” that needed to be flushed and moved on from, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was pretty excited about the results.

In particular, he was particularly impressed with the efforts of rookie linebacker Micah Parsons, who had four tackles, one tackle for loss, one pass breakup, and one quarterback hit in the game. It’s more of the same for the No. 12 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, who has now racked up 13 tackles, eight solo tackles, 1.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, six quarterback hits. and two pass breakups in three games for Dallas.

During an appearance with Shan & RJ on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday, Jones was asked about Parsons’ performance and the Cowboys owner came up with a very colorful way to describe his feelings.

“He’s as pure as mother’s milk,” Jones said. “He just basically steps out there and gives you everything he’s got, and nature gave him some skills. And boy, does he know how to use them.”

You might be sitting there saying to yourself, I’ve never heard that one before. Well, you would not be any different to Parsons himself, who tweeted that very reaction.

Jones wasn’t done praising Parsons, who came into the season with a lot to prove and is just getting started.

“Well, can you imagine when he’s had the reps, he’s had the experiences?” Jones said on the radio. “It’s like a young child, you just are soaking it up. Everything is soaking up and going in your memory bank. And of course, he’s doing that and is like a sponge and he just really picks it up and then has those gifts, can take it to the action.”

Hey, whatever makes Jerry happy. And if you’re a player for the Dallas Cowboys, if Jerry is happy, then you’re happy.
