Jim Harbaugh Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh anserws media questions as the football team arrives at Sky Harbor International Airport on Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, ahead of their College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl against the TCU Horned Frogs. Michigan 8

After beating the Ohio State Buckeyes, winning the Big Ten and making it to the College Football Playoff for the second straight season, Jim Harbaugh has already made it clear that he intends to return to the Michigan Wolverines next season even despite reported interest from several NFL teams. But that isn’t going to stop teams from reaching out, anyway.

According to Denver Broncos insider Benjamin Allbright, the Denver Broncos are expected to express interest in hiring Jim Harbaugh after firing head coach Nathanial Hackett this week.

“I do believe the Broncos will make an inquiry to see if hes interested,” Benjamin Allbright said in a Tweet.

Harbaugh did triy to leave the Michigan Wolverines for the NFL after making last year’s College Football Playoff and notching the program’s first win over the archrival Buckeyes in a decade. The Michigan coach interviewed and met with multiple different teams across the league before ultimately returning to Michigan after he failed to earn an offer from any of those teams. Harbaugh returned to Michigan on a reworked contract and said at the time he would not pursue an NFL job –even though his buyout seems to indicate otherwise.

We’ll have to see how this all plays out in the future.
