It’s safe to say that veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is already quite accomplished in his NFL career, even leading his team to a Super Bowl appearance at the end of the 2019-20 season. But as he moves on to the Las Vegas Raiders, he still thinks he has plenty to prove.

During his introductory press conference, Jimmy Garoppolo was asked if he thinks he has things to prove as he steps into the next portion of his career with the Raiders. And he had a pretty blunt response.

“Hell yeah. I’m trying to win a Super Bowl,” Garoppolo said according to Pro Football Talk. “I know every player says that when they come up to their first press conference. But that’s my goal. I want to win a ring, get the Silver and Black back to where it should be.

“And I know that’s not an easy process — I’ve been through it [with] San Francisco [at the] lower end of the field when I first got there. It’s a process, but it’ll be worth it.”

We’ll have to see if Garoppolo can eventually reach all of his career goals during this next career stint with the Raiders.
