The Cincinnati Bengals are taking on the Buffalo Bills this week with the winner of the game taking on either the Kansas City Chiefs or the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship game. But earlier this week, the league already began selling tickets to a potential Chiefs and Bills neutral site game in Atlanta, and Bengals running back Joe Mixon isn’t happy about it.

In an interview this week, Joe Mixon said it was “disrespectful” for the league to sell tickets to that game before either team had even won.

“To be honest, it’s disrespectful, but we’re not worried about that s***,” Mixon said according to Russ Heltman of SI.com. “We got a game to play on Sunday right? Like I said we are gonna go out there on Sunday and we’re gonna do what the hell we got to do to come back with that W. And then we’re going to see what they’re talking about.”

The NFL moved any AFC Championship Game matchup between the Bills and Chiefs to a neutral site after a game was canceled due to the terrifying Damar Hamlin injury affecting playoff seeding.

It’s worth noting that the Bengals were impacted by the changes too. Had Cincinnati won the Week 17 matchup against the Bills that was canceled – a home game which the Bengals were leading with the ball in Bills territory when the game was called – Cincinnati would have had home-field advantage entering this week’s game against Buffalo. But no accommodations were made for the Bengals, who will now travel to Buffalo this week.
