Over the past few seasons, Joe Mixon has been one of the best and most dominant running backs in the entire league. He has been an integral part of a prolific Cincinnati Bengals offense, even scoring a record five total touchdowns in the last full game with the team. Unfortunately, he hit a slight setback with a concussion last month and has missed several games as a result. But it looks like he’ll be returning for this week’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
According to a report from NFL insider and reporter Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Joe Mixon will be returning to the Bengals lineup this week.
#Bengals RB Joe Mixon (concussion protocol) is off the injury report, good to go as starter for Cincy vs. #Browns. Was a close call last week but good to go now.

“#Bengals RB Joe Mixon (concussion protocol) is off the injury report, good to go as starter for Cincy vs. #Browns. Was a close call last week but good to go now,” Fowler said in a Tweet on Friday.
It’s massive news for the Cincinnati Bengals and the league as a whole, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.
Mixon is good for Sunday as the #RuleTheJungle take on the Browns. Don't be surprised to see more of a committee approach, as Samaje Perine has done more than enough to earn himself snaps in this offense.#AFCNorth#NerdsDesk#NerdHerd@DynastyNerds https://t.co/nTinTv07lp

In Joe Mixon’s absence, backup running back Samaje Perine has filled in marvelously, even scoring three receiving touchdowns in the same game in which Mixon originally went down with a concussion.
