Patrick Mahomes is considered one of the nice guys in sports but his wife Brittany is not well-liked by the public.
Brittany Mahomes isn’t exactly a wallflower when it comes to talking about her husband. She has been scrutinized in the past for running her mouth and has been called out before, but this time she was called out by talk show host Joe Rogan.
Rogan said Mahomes’ wife will expect to get the same energy if the pair ever divorced.
“Promise they keep that same energy when you get divorced,” he said. “They come after you. They come after you with that same energy.”
It doesn’t look like the Mahomes’ will be getting a divorce anytime soon as they both own an NWSL soccer team and she just had the couple’s second child.
Mahomes has said she has had to deal with a lot of hate from fans across the NFL and has had to find ways to deal with her haters.
“I had to change my phone number because people were texting me and harassing me and saying all these mean and hateful things,” she said. “It’s hard because I have feelings just like they do.”
“When they say things like I’m ugly and Patrick could have someone better than me, they have no idea what they’re saying,” she continued.
Mahomes has had to come to the defense of his wife several times, especially with one particular incident involving a video that went viral on social media of the two of them at a Texas Tech basketball game last year where he looked annoyed.
Many joked about it but he defended his wife to the public saying that people are “weird” and that he loved her.
Brittany Mahomes isn’t going to get out of the spotlight anytime soon.
