Rather than texting or calling his dad to talk things over like a normal son would, Johnny Manziel responded to his dad’s comments on Instagram.

The comments Manziel is referring to came the other day. Speaking with ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Manziel’s dad said:

“He’s a druggie. It’s not a secret that he’s a druggie. I don’t know what to say other than my son is a druggie and he needs help. He just hasn’t seeked it yet. Hopefully he doesn’t die before he comes to his senses. That’s about all you can say. I don’t know what else to say. I hate to say it but I hope he goes to jail. I mean, that would be the best place for him. So we’ll see.”

Well, if the help Manziel needs is in Mexico, maybe Manziel wasn’t throwing shade at his dad with the hashtag #hiDad. At least he seems to be enjoying himself in Mexico?

S/O @travisscott cuz…ITS LIT per usual

Manziel airing out his family drama all occurs during the same week Manziel’s attorney in his domestic assault case removed himself. The attorney reportedly accidentally texted an Associated Press reporter stating Manziel spent over $1,000 on drug paraphernalia within the 15 hours after a previous hit-and-run accident.

Another week, another set of scandals for Manziel. Sadly, it looks like this tweet of his from April will be relevant for a long long time.
