Johnny Manziel’s public escapades are continuing at an alarming rate.
According to TMZ, Manziel was at a Hawaiian resort for a friend’s wedding where he was involved in an altercation with a fellow wedding guest. Manziel and his sparring partner were not fans of one another and the two fought during a rehearsal dinner.
Sources connected to Manziel tell us the QB felt like he was being hounded by the other man. We’re told Johnny was adamant he was not the instigator.
But things escalated … and at one point during the altercation Manziel struck the other guy in the face.
TMZ reports the fight ended quickly and things didn’t escalate further. The man in the fight received a bottle of champagne with a signed note saying, “Truly apologize. Should have never done that. Know this won’t make it better, but hope it starts the day off alright.” At least Manziel recognizes he was wrong?
Good on Manziel for realizing he made a mistake and attempting to fix it, but he still decided it was a good idea to get into a fight during a wedding. Manziel is supposed to be back on the straight and narrow, in his attempt to return to football. Fighting with someone at a friend’s wedding is the silly behavior which has led Manziel to this point. Yes, he recognized he was wrong, but the altercation should have never happened in the first place.
It’s not exactly the nicest wedding gift to give to a friend, either.
