Superstar running back Jonathan Taylor will return to the practice field this week after beginning the season on the physically unable to perform list. And even after requesting a trade from the team during the offseason, it’s beginning to sound most likely that he will remain with the Indianapolis Colts.

According to a report from NFL insider Jay Glazer of Fox NFL Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts do not currently have any trade offers on the table for Jonathan Taylor as he prepares to come off the PUP list.

Given that the trade window closes on Oct. 31, it’s looking more and more likely that Taylor could still spend the entire season with the Colts despite the tumultuous offseason and the trade talks surrounding him over the past several months.

It’s a pretty brutal situation for the superstar running back as he clearly wanted out of the team and isn’t going to get it, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on social media as a result.

Glazer reports that the team is trying to mend its relationship with the star running back, but with the way their relationship appears to have gone sour in recent months, it will be interesting to see how that goes.
