Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been banged up and dealt with lingering injuries throughout this season, and it sounds like that’s the case once again this week as the team prepares for a primetime matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
On Wednesday afternoon, Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott announced that Josh Allen would be limited in practice as a result of a shoulder injury.
“Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters at a press conference that Allen will be a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice because of his shoulder. Allen was on the injury report the last two weeks, but was a full participant in practice all of last week,” Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk reported on Wednesday.
It’s a pretty brutal announcement about the NFL star’s status, especially considering this week’s high-profile primetime matchup with the Bengals, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

While Allen may be limited in practice this week, he said that he expected to be “a little sore,” but made it clear that it would “take a lot for me not to play” against the Bengals on Sunday night.
We’ll have to see how he performs.
