Even though the Philadelphia Eagles are back in the Super Bowl, that doesn’t mean the rival New York Giants are going to give them much credit for it.

That was the case when New York safety Julian Love appeared on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football Thursday morning and downplayed the impact that Eagles coach Nick Sirianni has on the team.

“He’s a guy who really is doing a good job because he’s not getting in the way of his team,” Love said via Bob Wankel on Twitter. “He’s got an experienced roster from top to bottom, offense, and defense.”

That’s hardly a sentiment that many Eagles fans would agree with considering Sirianni took over a team that went 4-11-1 the year before he got there and has since gone 25-12 and returned the team to the Super Bowl.

Considering the Eagles dismantled the Giants 38-7 in the Divisional Round, maybe its best to keep your thoughts to yourself. Not to mention, by that logic, Love is essentially saying his teammates aren’t that good.

Love later took to Twitter to double down on his comments and call out those who disagree with him.

“Philly fans sure don’t like this one lol… but I’m not wrong. This is a players league, and Philly has dogs on the roster top to bottom. It’s no mystery why they’re in this position,” tweeted Love.

Naturally, that garnered some pretty spicy reactions.
