Second-year quarterback Justin Fields had a stellar performance for the Chicago Bears in sloppy wet Soldier Field playing conditions, leading his Bears to a 19-10 comeback victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon and making some highlight plays in the process.

And after taking a final knee to clinch the victory, Fields’ celebration was just as epic as his performance.

The Bears lined up in victory formation to close out the win over the Niners, but they clearly had a celebration plan in mind for when the clock hit zero. As soon as Fields’ knee hit the turf on the team’s last play of the game, several players sprinted to the end zone and dove across the turf as if it was a slip ‘n slide, with water splashing everywhere.

The video and the photos of the event went viral, and the NFL world had plenty to say about the absolutely epic celebration.

The celebration wasn’t the only thing to go viral from Fields’ win on Sunday. He made several plays with both his arm and legs that belong on a highlight reel.

Fields led his team back from a 10-0 deficit late in the third quarter while playing in lackluster conditions. And to make the win even sweeter, the breakout performance came against the Niners, who selected Trey Lance over Fields in the 2021 NFL Draft despite many expecting them to select the former Ohio State star.

It looks like Fields got his revenge, after all.
