It looks like Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross is in quite a bit of legal trouble as the former Clemson Tigers star has been arrested on felony charges this week.

According to a report from ESPN, Justyn Ross was arrested on Monday in a Kansas City suburb for a felony charge of “criminal damage of more than $1,000 but less than $25,000.”

“Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested Monday in Shawnee, Kansas, and he is facing a felony charge of criminal damage of more than $1,000 but less than $25,000, according to a booking report from the sheriff’s office in Johnson County, Kansas,” ESPN wrote on Tuesday.

It’s a pretty significant announcement regarding a player that the Chiefs were hopeful would be a budding star in their offense, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

Ross has appeared in all seven games so far this season for the Kansas City Chiefs, totaling three catches for 34 yards during his game appearances.

The Chiefs are aware of the incident and the arrest but have not issued a comment on the matter. In addition to the legal issues, Ross could face punishment under the league’s personal conduct policy.
