The Kansas City Chiefs failed to become the first franchise in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls, instead losing Super Bowl LIX to the Philadelphia Eagles in embarassing fashion.

Still, the Chiefs know that as long as they have quarterback Patrick Mahomes, they’ll have a legitimate shot to get back to the top of the mountain if they can surround him with the right weapons, and Mahomes feels that’s exactly what the organization has done for him this offseason.

“I think it’s gonna come from everywhere,” Mahomes said of his supporting cast earlier this offseason. “Obviously, you’ve got Rashee being back. He looks great. You have Xavier Worthy, who came on so strong at the end of last year. You have Hollywood Brown healthy again. Guys everywhere.

“You add in Travis Kelce, a Hall of Famer. Noah Gray, a great tight end, and everybody that we’ve added to all those different rooms. We have so many weapons. Let’s go out there and just maximize it all. It’s not gonna be just one person.

“It’s gonna be the entire offense going out there and showcasing what the Kansas City Chiefs truly are.”

Unfortunately, one of those weapons is dealing with a head injury at the moment.

“Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy, who left yesterday’s practice after banging his head, is in the NFL’s concussion protocol, per coach Andy Reid,” reported NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Wednesday.

Hopefully, Worthy makes a full recovery before the regular season arrives.
