The Minnesota Vikings torched the Green Bay Packers 23-7 as the duo of quarterback Kirk Cousins and wide receiver Justin Jefferson combined for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
For Minnesota fans, that alone was a great start to the season. And then Cousins showed up to the postgame press conference looking like everybody’s midwestern middle-aged dad.
Cousins showed up in a short sleeved Patagonia shirt (thanks to DP Show’s Paul Pabst for the tip) that made him look more like he spends his Sunday’s grilling in the backyard than being a starting quarterback in the NFL. Nevertheless, Cousins pulled off the wardrobe well and if the Vikings keep winning, he might be continuing the middle school science teacher look.
Many on social media took notice of Cousins’ fashion choice and had some good old fashioned fun.
