The trend of the ugly Christmas sweater has, for some reason, risen in popularity in recent years and the trend does not appear to be dying down anytime soon. Keeping in that holiday spirit, Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins has come up with just the right addition to your growing collection of tacky holiday attire.
Now available on Cousins’ website is the one and only “Yule Like That!” holiday sweater, available in the signature burgundy and gold color scheme of the Redskins. Expect to see plenty of these at your next holiday party with your Redskins fan family and friends and co-workers.
An image of the quarterback is printed on the shirt, complete with sweater-like designs including gingerbread men, stockings, candy, and more.
Putting aside the fact that a sweatshirt is not a sweater, we can appreciate the sense of humor here. But one has to wonder if this is all just adding up to Cousins’ biggest legacy moment in a Redskins uniform, shouting “You like that!” after a win as he made his way back to the locker room.
