We’ve seen all sorts of interesting tidbits at training camp this summer, whether it’s rookie Christian McCaffrey demolishing one of the NFL’s best linebackers, Dez Bryant making a kid cry tears of joy by playing catch with him, or Kobe Bryant welcoming the Chargers to Los Angeles. Add Kirk Cousins to that list, although for nothing football-related.

CSN Mid-Atlantic miked up the Redskins quarterback at training camp on Wednesday. And they got some quality audio of him rapping a song from the Broadway musical Hamilton.

In case you used to look at Cousins and assume he couldn’t rap, now we’ve got audiovisual evidence confirming that. He messed up a few of the lyrics as well, but that’s just how things go in Redskins World.

The Redskins caught plenty more hilarious Cousins quotes during practice. Apparently Alexander Hamilton isn’t the only historical American figure he admires.

Cousins loves musical theatre, but maybe he should stick to just singing and acting.
