Last month, the Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury after a disappointing season, in a move that elicited quite a reaction from the NFL world. Shortly after he was removed from his position, Kingsbury took a vacation to Thailand after buying a “one-way ticket” to the country and made it hilariously clear that he was not immediately interested in any available coaching jobs. But it appears that is no longer the case.
According to NFL insider Dan Graziano of ESPN, Kliff Kingsbury is now interested in a potential coaching position with the Houston Texans and is speaking with the team.
Per sources, former Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury is in Houston today, speaking to the Texans about a job on DeMeco Ryans’ coaching staff.

“Per sources, former Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury is in Houston today, speaking to the Texans about a job on DeMeco Ryans’ coaching staff,” Graziano said on Twitter.
If Kingsbury were to join the staff in any capacity, it would obviously be a big move for both the Texans and Kingsbury. As a result, the NFL world had plenty to say about it on social media.
How many direct flights are there from Thailand to Houston?

Whatever happened to Kliff's one-way ticket to Thailand? And why is he trying to work? Just sleep on those piles of money. Or burn them in your massive fire pit. https://t.co/X5BudMejuE

When he was in 8th grade, QB Bryce Young camped at Texas Tech and head coach Kliff Kingsbury offered him on the spot. It was Young's first scholarship offer.#Texans https://t.co/9XpZQymddA

You can't say you're buying a 1-way ticket to Thailand and then come back to interview with the Texans. Just can't do it. https://t.co/MtRNDfMvTq

It’s not clear what Kingsbury’s role would be with the team if he is offered and accepts a job, but it is certainly an interesting development considering his previous reluctance to return to work.
