Last month, the Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury after a disappointing season, in a move that elicited quite a reaction from the NFL world. Shortly after he was removed from his position, Kingsbury took a vacation to Thailand after buying a “one-way ticket” to the country and made it hilariously clear that he was not immediately interested in any available coaching jobs. But it appears that is no longer the case.

According to NFL insider Dan Graziano of ESPN, Kliff Kingsbury is now interested in a potential coaching position with the Houston Texans and is speaking with the team.

“Per sources, former Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury is in Houston today, speaking to the Texans about a job on DeMeco Ryans’ coaching staff,” Graziano said on Twitter.

If Kingsbury were to join the staff in any capacity, it would obviously be a big move for both the Texans and Kingsbury. As a result, the NFL world had plenty to say about it on social media.

It’s not clear what Kingsbury’s role would be with the team if he is offered and accepts a job, but it is certainly an interesting development considering his previous reluctance to return to work.
