Even though Kliff Kingsbury was just fired from his position as the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, he is still widely regarded as one of the best offensive minds in football and undoubtedly had interest from many teams about potentially becoming their offensive coordinator. But apparently, he’s not interested – for a pretty hilarious reason.
According to a report from Peter Schrager of Fox, Kliff Kingsbury is headed to Thailand with a one-way ticket and is not interested in becoming a team’s offensive coordinator right now.
As I just reported on FOX, multiple teams have contacted Kliff Kingsbury for their vacant OC job.
He bought a one way ticket to Thailand and has told teams (respectfully) that he’s not interested at the moment. @NFLonFOX

It’s a pretty hilarious move from Kingsbury, and the football world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.

“Isn’t this how the second Hangover movie started?” asked Vincent Verhei of Football Outsiders in a tweet.
It seems inevitable that Kingsbury will eventually return to the sideline, but for now, he’s taking a break.
