Much of the Atlanta Falcons’ offseason has been dominated by news of veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins’ future with the organization. Cousins, who signed a hefty deal with Atlanta last offseason, lost his job to Michael Penix Jr.

There’s speculation that Cousins will be dealt to a new franchise before the season commences, but he isn’t the only question mark around the organization. Tight end Kyle Pitts’ future in Atlanta has also been discussed as coming to an end soon.

Now, there’s more tough news concerning Pitts, per one prominent league insider.

“While there has been speculation about his future in Atlanta, Falcons TE Kyle Pitts hasn’t been practicing at OTAs due to a strained muscle in his foot, per source,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

Fans reacte to the news on social media.

“Kyle Pitts to the Cowboys? Nah, he’s heading to the Eagles to haunt the Falcons twice a year,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Kyle Pitts’ absence from OTAs due to a foot injury is concerning, especially amid trade rumors. The Falcons need their star TE healthy to maximize their offense. Hopefully, it’s minor, but Atlanta must prioritize his recovery to avoid setbacks,” someone else added.

“This guy can’t do anything huh,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Pitts spends this season in Atlanta.
