The Baltimore Ravens entered this season with last year’s playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills, and Bills quarterback Josh Allen winning the MVP over Lamar Jackson, fresh on thier minds. Unfortunately for Baltimore, the season started as poorly as imaginable, starting the year 1-5. However, head coach John Harbaugh and the Ravens clawed back to 8-8, setting up a winner-take-all tilt for the AFC North against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the loser’s season coming to a close.

The Ravens were in position to walk it off, but rookie Tyler Loop missed the go-ahead field goal wide right, ending Baltimore’s season. After the game, Jackson was asked about Harbaugh’s future, as many speculated the longtime Ravens coach would be ousted if his team failed to reach the playoffs.

However, Jackson refrained from offering support for Harbaugh to remain in his current role.

“We just lost a game, a divisional game, a game to put us in the playoffs,” Jackson said, according to Pro Football Talk. “I’m not even thinking about that right now, to be honest with you. I’m still caught up in what just happened. That’s not my focus right now.”

The quarterback was asked directly if he wanted Harbaugh back and deflected again.

“You’re asking me about next year,” Jackson said. “I’m so caught up in what just happened tonight, I can’t focus on that right now. I just told you. I’m stunned right now. I’m still trying to process what’s going on.”

It’ll be interesting to see how the Ravens organization proceeds after such a disappointing year.
