Ndamukong Suh is a tough player to like. The Dolphins’ defensive tackle has tripped opponents,  stomped opponents, slung Jay Cutler violently into the turf (which probably made a few people happy around the league, to be honest), and shoved other opponents to the ground, which he did again Sunday with Patriots’ RB LeGarrette Blount.

Today, after the Suh shove, Blount retaliated by ripping off Suh’s helmet. After the game, Blount didn’t exactly dial down his thoughts on Suh, calling him a dirty player, multiple times over:

Scorched earth. Here’s the transcript:

Yeah, that’s not holding anything back. At this point, though, Suh kind of has to wear that label. The most generous read of his on-field antics is probably that he’s just incredibly intense, and loses control in various moments. (Grayson Allen syndrome, if you will.)

But at a certain point, intent doesn’t really trump the outcome, in moments like this. The Patriots obviously handled things easily today, winning 35-14, and Blount had at least one personal victory as well, on this goal-line touchdown:

This round goes to LeGarrette Blount and the Patriots, both on and off the field.
