One of the best parts about Twitter is the ability for brands to make fun of customers who criticize them. This happens often with sports teams and their fans or opposing players.

Week 1 of the NFL was full of wire-to-wire close games. That led to one ridiculous stat.

Well, that tweet was sent out a little too early as this week was the first time in NFL history that FOUR games in Week 1 were decided by exactly 1 point. Now you may be asking which game was the fourth? We’ll let Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams tell you.

Well as Joe Buck so lovingly points out, Williams should’ve gotten out of bounds. Since Williams didn’t, the clock ran out, giving the New York Giants their first Week 1 game in six years. Williams wasn’t exactly applauded for the move on social media after the game.

While of these tweets are pretty great, the knockout punch came from none other than the official account of EA Sports’ ‘Madden NFL’ franchise.

Burn.

Going into week one, Williams had an awareness rating on Madden of 82, tied with Cole Beasley for the highest amongst Cowboys wide receivers. Now the question is with Madden’s week-to-week rating changes, how low will Williams’ awareness rating be before week two?
