Following the 2023 NFL Draft, many experts and analysts are already moving on to the 2024 NFL Draft. And while many expect USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams to be the No. 1 overall pick in next year’s draft, one college football expert has a pretty surprising pick of who he thinks is the top overall player in the draft class.

According to college football analyst Joel Klatt of Fox Sports, Ohio State Buckeyes star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is his top prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft simply because he is “the best player in college football.”

“The best player next year is Marvin Harrison Jr.,” Klatt said according to On3. “The dude is the best wide receiver I’ve seen in college football since Randy Moss. He does everything well. He’s like his dad in a baby Julio Jones body. Runs great routes, catches it better than anybody, got outstanding body control…It’s insanity.”

“The space he creates, the ability to win, to be physical? He’s the best player in college football,” Klatt continued. “Marvin Harrison Jr. is my No. 1 prospect for next year because he’s the best player.”

We’ll have to see how Harrison performs this year. But based on his numbers from last year, it’s reasonable to expect big things.
