Los Angeles Rams star quarterback Matthew Stafford signed a long-term contract with the Los Angeles Rams that runs through the 2026 season. But that has not stopped several trade rumors from popping up surrounding Stafford. But he’s not really listening to them.

During a press conference this week, Matthew Stafford was asked about the constant trade talks, and he made it clear that while there have been plenty of teams that might be interested in trading for the veteran quarterback, he’s happy in his current situation and has no interest in a trade.

“I see it as flattering, I guess, that other teams would reach out and want me to come play for them,” Stafford said Wednesday according to Sports Illustrated. “I just know that I’m really happy where I am, playing for this team, playing for this coach and these fans.”

Stafford is not preparing for the upcoming season, and he claims he is the healthiest that he has ever been.

“I feel a lot better,” Stafford said. “Physically, I feel really healthy compared to where I was at this point last year, so that’s fun for me. I was able to get the work in that I want to get in coming into this. And that makes it a whole lot more fun for me and just excited to be out here.”
