The Miami Dolphins have emerged as one of the most exciting teams in the NFL under head coach Mike McDaniel, and as a result it sounds like the league wants to showcase an inside look at the team to the masses.
According to a report from league insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Miami Dolphins will be featured on the in-season edition of the television documentary series Hard Knocks which will debut later this fall,” Schefter said in a post on X.
Dolphins have been selected as this year’s in-season Hard Knocks team, per source. One of the most interesting teams in the NFL — and the current leaders of the AFC East — now will be featured by NFL Films and HBO later this fall.
It’s a big announcement about one of the most compelling teams in the league, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.
i think Hard Knocks being a distraction is overblown.
however, i absolutely think in-season Hard Knocks can be a big distraction. https://t.co/efQra38WJt

The decision was made late last week, meaning the Dolphins have been aware
Therefore, the Dolphins are now 0-1 since being selected to Hard Knocks. Have to wonder if they can channel out all the noise and distraction. Real shame https://t.co/ZrxfVKOPuF

The Miami Dolphins were last featured on Hard Knocks in 2012.

With Mike McDaniel, it’ll be like a Hard Knocks and The Office crossover. Just need to add a funny TE to the equation. George Kittle trade? https://t.co/e8RQUx6fW3

The Dolphins are on pace to have a historic offense this season with both quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill on pace to break NFL single-season records.
If they are able to stay on pace and break those records, it will all be captured on the show.
