United States President Donald Trump made history when he became the first sitting President to attend the Super Bowl earlier this month in New Orleans. In light of Trump’s attendance, many people worried that Trump’s presence would overshadow the actual product on the field.

However, one, NFL legend completely dismissed that notion as ever having even been a possibility.

“Nah, nah. Come on. It’s the biggest sporting event in the world. It’s not going to overshadow the game. If he jumps out on the field and streaks, or he decides to put on some pads, then it might overshadow the game,” Michael Strahan said, according to Irish Star.

“But no, this is about Sunday and the NFL. The people have waited all year for this. It’s the biggest event of the year, and there’s a reason people travel from all over to attend with all the media attention, so no.”

After his attendance, Trump went after Taylor Swift via his social media website, Truth Social.

“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift,” Trump wrote.

“She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

It’ll be interesting if he has anything to say about an NFL legend downplaying his presence.
