One of the most exciting quarterbacks to watch over the past few decades was Michael Vick, particularly known for his time with the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles .
Vick has held multiple roles in the sports world since his retirement from the NFL in 2015, including playing in the American Flag Football League in 2017, taking a coaching internship with the Kansas City Chiefs that year as well, and coaching with the Atlanta Legends in the AAF (Alliance of American Football) in 2019. He’s also worked as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports.
There were rumors that Vick was going to play in the growing Fan Controlled Football league that the likes of Terrell Owens and Johnny Manziel have also played in. But Vick ultimately said last month that his playing days are over for good.

While we will likely never see Vick playing football again, he has detailed some future plans for staying around the sport. On Wednesday, he announced a plan to help young athletes as they pursue NIL deals at the collegiate level.
Vick announced that he will join Levels Sports Group as a partner and head of athlete development. That management group focuses on NIL and brand development for athletes as they pursue opportunities in the ever-changing collegiate landscape.

In this new role, he will work directly with Clemson quarterback D.J Uiagalelei and USC commit Malachi Nelson, amongst others, to build their NIL opportunities throughout their college careers.
Many football fans seem to believe that Vick could be perfect in his new role considering how big of a star he was during his playing career not only in the NFL but during his college career at Virginia Tech.

As collegiate sports continue to go down the rabbit hole that has been NIL, this may become more and more common, with retired athletes having plenty of advice for collegiate stars in a mentor-type role like Vick has announced.
