It’s been quite a concerning season for Tua Tagovailoa as the Miami Dolphins quarterback has suffered multiple high-profile concussions this year that has left the NFL world concerned about his health. Tagovailoa suffered another concussion during Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Green Bay Packers after his head slammed to the turf. And even though he showed no symptoms of the concussion during the game, head coach Mike McDaniel said he did notice it eventually.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Mike McDaniel revealed that he noticed signs of a concussion during film review on Monday and encouraged Tua Tagovailoa to see a doctor, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

What happened Monday: McDaniel said during film review on Monday, he had questions about ‘consistency of things I study daily on tape’ about Tua and continued to question Tua and then encouraged him to see a doctor, who put him in protocol,” Jackson said in a Tweet.

It’s not clear when or if Tagovailoa will return for the Dolphins this season as this is at least the second concussion he’s suffered this season. It’s even more concerning if his concussions continue to be relatively difficult to detect, as this one was.
