The Mike Vrabel, Dianna Russini saga stretches on. Things became hectic after Page Six published photos of the New England Patriots head coach and a former reporter for The Athletic spending time together and holding hands at an adult-only resort.

Although the pair immediately denied there being any inappropriate relationship between them, Russini has since resigned from The Athletic, and Vrabel has cited the need to make “good decisions.”

“I’ve had some difficult conversations with people that I care about, with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive,” he told reporters at Gillette Stadium.

“We believe that in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me, that starts we me. We never want our actions to negatively affect the team. We never want to be the cause of a distraction.”

However, on Wednesday, photos of the pair eating breakfast together surfaced via Page Six.

Fans reacted to the photos on social media.

“My guess is that Private investigator has much more incrementing evidence and is waiting to drop it,” one person speculated on Twitter.

“Whoever is sending the New York Post these photos is doing so in a very timely and methodical manner,” another person added.

“There were always going to be more photos,” another person wrote.

Hopefully, all parties involved can move on from this both personally and professionally.
