The Bears and Vikings are playing an important NFC North matchup today at Soldier Field, with the division looking early on like it could be the best in the league.

Chicago’s day looked to start in the worst possible way, though, with a fumble from starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky leading to Trubisky being injured on the play.

The fumble ended up being negated by a defensive holding call, but Trubisky was eventually ruled out for the game. His replacement, Chase Daniel, proceeded to lead the Bears down the field himself, though, which ended with this touchdown pass to Tarik Cohen.

The Bears have a London game against Oakland next week, followed by a Week 6 bye, so if Trubisky is out for a few weeks this isn’t the worst time of the year for it to happen. Missing the rest of a key divisional game, though, is certainly unfortunate.
