The NFL world was hit with stunning news on Monday afternoon when news broke that Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett had been involved in a single-car crash that sent both him and his female passenger to the hospital after the car flipped multiple times.

Garrett was reportedly on his way home from practice when his 2021 Porche veered to the right into the ditch and flipped several times before coming to a stop. Both Garrett and his passenger were sent to a local hospital with minor injuries, but the damage to the car was quite a bit more severe.

WKYC Channel 3 News shared several photos of the aftermath of the wild accident on Monday afternoon.

The Cleveland Browns confirmed Garrett’s crash, releasing the following statement on Monday afternoon:

“Myles Garrett was involved in a one-car accident this afternoon after leaving the practice facility. He suffered non-life threatening injuries, was transported to a local hospital and we are in the process of gathering more information,” the Cleveland Browns said in a statement.

While Garrett’s injuries are not life-threatening, it’s not immediately clear if the star defensive end will be able to participate in Sunday afternoon’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
