The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without running back Najee Harris for the remainder of their Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday.
Harris went into the locker room before the rest of his team, going in just before halftime of Monday’s game. Shortly before the second half began, Burt Lauten, Senior Director of Communications for the Steelers, announced on Twitter that Harris would miss the remainder of the game with an abdominal injury.

Harris was one of the NFL’s top rookies in 2021. As a rookie in 2021, he rushed for 1,200 yards with seven touchdowns and added 74 receptions for 467 yards with three touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance. The 2022 season, though, has been more of a struggle. Including Monday’s game, he’s rushed for 585 yards with four touchdowns and added 29 receptions for 142 yards with two touchdowns in the passing game.
If Harris does miss any games, it will be a first for the second-year running back out of Alabama. He started all 17 games regular season games for the Steelers as a rookie in 2021, as well as their playoff game. In 2022, he’s started all 11 of Pittsburgh’s games.
